Through oil painting as my medium, I've been able to stretch my eyes throughout my life in scenery. Going forward into the art world with oil was fascinating and easy. Color has a way of changing my view of the world and lifting my spirits during the hard times. Not wanting to take the time out of my busy life several years ago, I reluctantly agreed to a painting class. Working with oils was instantly easy for me. As I've expanded my choices of what I prefer to paint, seascapes and farm scenes take precedence and painting where I'd like to be seems to be my favorite choice. Painting with oils has made my view of the world change immensely. Just as in music and learning the details of any musical piece put to sound, visual art has its own incredible effect. Nothing has looked the same for me since, and I find beauty in what most folks consider to be smallest, most insignificant things.
